To make or renew a passport has become a headache, people are frustrated as the delay goes up to 4 -5 months. Government has completely failed to handle this department.
Do you think passport office should become privatized for smooth functioning ?

Yes,it would be great if the passport office is privatised but work under some reliable government agency to whom complaints could be made if and when necessary.It would save time (and money for whom time is money).It could also be a riddance of the umpteen trips to the passport office,and corruption which seems to have become an endamic malady in most governmental offices.
