A
study published in the latest issue of the Indian Journal of Medical
Research evaluates anti arthritic impact of green - fresh Dhania / Coriander as
well as ground seeds!
It has been
found to inhibit joint swelling and to control the spread of the disease, with
no side effects. All Indian curries and dry cooking uses this spice liberally,
to add flavour and body to the dishes. The fresh green chopped leaves liven up
any table setting. The fresh green bunch of Dhania leaves come free with any
seasonal fresh vegetable purchase, every morning.
It is also
ground with fresh green chillies and /or garlic and tomatoes , a sprinkling of
salt to make chutnies.
